All the ERP. None of the project.

Odoo is a serious ERP, and its Indian GST localisation is real. The thing most Indian businesses trip over is not Odoo's software — it is the implementation project and the per-user bill that arrive with it. Jupeak One is priced per module and goes live in days.

✓ No implementation project ✓ Per module, not per user ✓ 21 modules, one login ✓ Data hosted in India

Is Jupeak One a good alternative to Odoo? Sometimes — and it is worth being straight about when it is not. Odoo is genuinely good software: a very wide app range, real manufacturing and MRP depth, Studio for customisation, a free single-app tier, and the option to self-host. Its Indian localisation does e-invoice through the NIC portal, e-way bill and GSTR-1. If you need deep manufacturing, heavy custom workflows or on-premise hosting, pick Odoo. Where Jupeak One wins is the shape of the commitment: you are live in days on a 14-day trial instead of commissioning a project, and you pay per module rather than per seat — which is what changes the five-year number for a growing team.

⏱️

Live in days, not a project

No discovery phase, no partner engagement, no go-live date three months out. Sign up, import your parties and items, and start billing. The trial is the evaluation.

₹

Per module, not per user

Adding the tenth or fiftieth person does not multiply your bill. You pay for the modules you switch on, billed per company, per branch or per employee as each one actually costs.

💬

WhatsApp as a module, not a plugin

The WhatsApp Business API is a first-class module — reminders, blasts, order capture and the ledger share the same records as your billing.

Odoo figures as of October 2026, taken from odoo.com/pricing and Odoo's own India fiscal localisation documentation; implementation ranges are the figures Indian Odoo partners publish, which vary widely by scope. All prices exclude 18% GST. Odoo is a trademark of Odoo S.A.; we are not affiliated with them. Odoo ships often — if a cell here is out of date, tell us and we will correct it and move the date.

When you should pick Odoo instead

  • You need real manufacturing depth — multi-level BOMs, routings, work centres, MRP scheduling.
  • You want to self-host or keep the database on your own hardware.
  • You have a developer and want to build on the platform rather than configure a product.
  • You need a niche app from the marketplace that we simply do not have.

We would rather tell you this now than after you have paid. If one of those is a hard requirement, Odoo with a good partner is the better outcome for you.

Common questions

Odoo vs Jupeak One

Does Odoo handle Indian GST?

Yes. Odoo's Indian localisation includes e-invoicing with direct integration to the NIC Invoice Registration Portal, e-way bill, and GSTR-1 JSON generation. Anyone telling you Odoo cannot do Indian GST is selling you something. The real difference is the shape of the cost and the rollout, not GST capability.

What does Odoo actually cost in India?

Odoo lists Standard at about ₹580 per user per month on annual billing and Custom at about ₹1,080 per user per month — and multi-company and external API access are Custom-only. The part that surprises people is implementation, which is a separate engagement commonly quoted at ₹90,000–₹2.75 lakh for a small business and ₹3–12 lakh for a mid-sized one. Checked October 2026, excluding 18% GST.

So when is Jupeak One the better choice?

When you want to be running this month rather than after a project, when your headcount is growing and you do not want the bill to grow with it, and when WhatsApp, UPI collection and Indian-language screens matter more to you than a marketplace of third-party apps.

Can I move to Jupeak One from Odoo?

Masters and opening balances, yes — parties, items, ledgers and balances import from CSV or Excel. A full Odoo history migration is not a one-click job and we will tell you honestly what is feasible before you commit, not after.
